About Tymes Cyber, Bushgate — Ruiru
A neighbourhood cyber cafe built around one idea: that the person on the other side of the counter should understand what is happening to their document, their application and their money.
Who we are
Tymes Cyber is a full-service cyber cafe on the main road at Bushgate in Ruiru, right next to Ola Petrol Station. We print, photocopy, scan, bind, laminate, design, type and take passport photos — and we handle assisted eCitizen, KRA, NTSA, HELB and passport applications for people who would rather not guess their way through a government portal.
Ruiru has no shortage of places with a printer. What people tell us they were looking for, and did not always find, is somewhere unhurried: a counter where you can say “I do not understand this form” without being made to feel slow, and where somebody checks the job before charging you for it.
That is the whole business model. Careful work, explained plainly, at a fair price, for people who live and work around here.
Patient by default
English or Kiswahili, as slowly as you need, as many times as you need. Nobody is rushed out of the queue.
Checked before charged
We look at the file before it prints. Wrong size, cut margins and missing pages are caught at the counter.
Discreet with documents
IDs, certificates, medical letters and bank papers are handled, handed back and cleared. Nothing is kept.
